Why do you need to map scenes in the script import?

Yamdu tries to link the detected scenes from the script file to the existing scenes of your project. This link can be edited before you store the changes. Yamdu needs to be able to map information in the script to existing scenes in order to retain comments or changes made in Yamdu even after the script import. Existing scenes which are not linked to a newly detected scene, will be not deleted but get a new scene number with ‘OLD’ at the beginning, for example ‘OLD 1A’, so that you are able recognize that this scene is not part of the imported script.
