List Your Resources Clearly

The 'Day Out of Days' are part of every shooting plan. They summarize the days all resources within a production, such as actors, sets, extras, props, and so on will be needed. This allows you to see on which days a resource is or is not needed and gives you an overview of the sum of all their days of use. The Day Out of Days are therefore also significant for cost control of expensive or contractually constrained resources such as actors. It is used to check whether a shooting schedule remains within the budgetary framework or whether items within the calculation have been postponed or have to be adjusted due to changes in working days.
