Each time you use the Internet, your Internet browser automatically transmits certain information that we store in so-called log files. a. Registration for Yamdu / User Account

If you wish to register for the first time with Yamdu or have been added/invited by your organization as part of its membership in a project, we collect the following data: First and Last Name, E-mail address and a password chosen by yourself

We use this information in order to be able to set up your user account for Yamdu. After clicking on the "Register" button you will receive an E-Mail requesting you to confirm the registration (double opt-in). Your registration for Yamdu is completed only after your confirmation.

Within your user account on Yamdu, you can optionally specify additional data, e.g. for film projects you are interested in, which may be of relevance, especially for other project participants or future film projects. This relates to, for example, data such as your address, phone numbers, information on skills, as far as these may be relevant for film projects (e.g. driving license). You can also enter a photo of yourself in your user account. Insofar as you provide this data, we store the information in your user account. As part of your user account, you have a large number of setting options, e.g. to see if other users can see your profile details, what notifications you would like to receive about your ongoing projects (e.g., via email or push notifications), etc.

The legal basis for the above-described processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR (processing is required to fulfill a contract).

b. Test phase/booking chargeable packages for corporate clients

As a corporate client, you register with Yamdu as a company or organization to be able to test Yamdu during a fourteen-day test phase. In this case, in addition to the data listed above, the name, address and contact details of your company, including a contact person in your organization, and optionally and as far as you have uploaded a company logo, will be stored by us.

As part of the booking of chargeable packages for corporate customers, your bank account data will also be collected. See also paragraph 6 below with regard to the collection and dissemination of data to the payment service provider/credit institutions.

5. Obligation to providing personal data

If you wish to use Yamdu's services as described in section 4 above, you must provide the personal information required to register or book the Services. If you do not provide us with this data, it is not possible for us to provide the desired performance.

6. Disclosure of your personal data to third parties

Your personal data will only be passed on or transmitted by us to third parties, as far as this is necessary for the performance of the contract with you, a legitimate interest on our part, you have given your consent to this and/or as far as we are obliged to do so by law or by official or judicial orders.

Your personal data will be transmitted by us to third parties in the cases described below and for the purposes described below.

a. Service providers in connection with the execution of the contract / ARRI Webgate

As part of using Yamdu's services, the product ARRI Webgate can also be used for image editing. We would like to point out that the product ARRI Webgate is provided by our cooperation partner ARRI Media GmbH, Türkenstraße 89, 80799 Munich / Germany and in this respect a separate registration at ARRI Webgate is required. b. Email delivery service

For the dispatch of our emails to you, e.g. transaction emails such as the sending of booking confirmations, confirmation of registration of your user account/validation of your e-mail address, etc., we use the email forwarding service providers SendGrid and Sendpulse, located in the USA.

The email addresses of the recipients and the corresponding log-on data required for logging/proof of registration are stored on the SendGrid servers outside the European Union / the European Economic Area in the USA. We solely used this data on the basis of a contract processing agreement between us and SendGrid to send the emails and to store the log-on data, not used for other purposes and particularly not, for example, sending personalized email messages to you by SendGrid. c. Service provider for push notifications

For sending our push notifications (as far as you have activated or deactivated them in your user account for individual or all projects, in whole or in part) on your mobile device, we use the service provider OneSignal based in the USA. OneSignal sends push notifications on our behalf based on an order processing agreement. OneSignal does not store or process IP addresses for push notifications. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (1) (a) GDPR (processing based on the consent of the person concerned) in conjunction with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. (f) GDPR (processing on the basis of legitimate interest) and Art. 28 (3) GDPR (processing by a processor on the basis of a contract). d. Payment Service provider

In order to be able to offer you a selection of different payment methods for booking on our website, we use the external payment service provider Paymill (Paymill GmbH, St.-Martin-Straße 63, 81669 München). Depending on which payment method you select in the booking process, we pass on the data collected for the settlement of payments, such as bank details or credit card details, to the payment service provider or to the payment service provider Paymill. 7. Deletion of data

Of course, even without a special request from our customers, we comply with our obligations to delete personal data (for example, pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR) and therefore store data only for as long as is necessary for the provision of the desired service or purpose.
